Fall Football

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Flag Football (JV) is open to anyone going into 3rd through 5th grade in the Fall of 2025.

Tackle Football (V) is open to anyone going into 6th or 7th grade in the Fall of 2025.

What time of the year does this program run?

Our season starts at the end of August and runs through the second week of October.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Practices and games are held at the Ward Street practice fields (across from the High School) 1085 Ward Street. We do play one weekend at East China Stadium.

When are practices and how often are they?

Practices are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 7:00pm throughout the season.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams play one game per week on Saturdays at either 9:00am or 10:15am. The only exception is the week we play at East China Stadium and those will be in the evening.

Is equipment provided or need to be purchased separately?

Marine City Jr Football provides all equipment to participate in our league, both flag and tackle. The only equipment not provided is cleats, socks and an athletic supporter (cup).

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

The only extra cost will be our annual raffle that we expect each player to sell. Although not an obligation this is the only fundraiser we do for our program and helps keep our overall costs low.
